| Unfortunately, this cannot work. The scan frequency of SVGA more over than TV! (TV horizontal: 15625Hz, vert. 50Hz in Europe, monitors begin from 31500/640x480 to over 80000Hz) | 2007-12-03 08:30:36 rebeccah Simple User

| Hi all, I have a TV which also has the function of being used as an RGB monitor. It has a scart connection on the back.
What I would like to know follows :-
Is it possible to connect the following pins
SVGA .................................... SCART
1 ... Red Video out ....... 15 ... Red Video in / Chrominance 2.... Green Video out .... 11 ... Green Video in 3.... Blue Video out ......... 7 ... Blue Video in
6.... Red Ground ........... 13 ... Red Ground 7.... Green Ground .......... 9 ... Green Ground 8.... Blue Ground ............ 5 ... Blue Ground
I realize this looks pretty straight forward.
However I would like to make sure that I can connect the previous mentioned pins and have the RGB monitor function as it should, safely, without any modifications
Thank you for any and all advice/help given
